The Chevrolet Corvair included a two-door coupe and convertible, a four-door sedan, and four-door station wagon configuration. In addition, there was a more powerful Monza model, a passenger van, commercial van, and pickup (sort of) were available during it’s short life from 1960 – 1969.
Then in 1975, the Monza name was resurrected for a whole new series. The Buick version was a Skyhawk, the Oldsmobile was a Starfire, and the Pontiac a Sunbird. The Monza was only produced from 1975 – 1980 and was designed to compete with the Ford Mustang II and other sporty coupes.
