The Chevrolet Bel Air was produced by the Chevrolet division of GM for the 1950–1975 model years. One of the classic Chevy looks, the revolutionary style of the Bel Air would set a pattern for decades. The first year’s production was only a little over 76,000, cost $1,740, and weighed 3,225 lbs.
