Grand Prix

In 1962, the Pontiac Grand Prix name was applied to cars in the mid-sized luxury car market. Pontiac placed the Grand Prix just below the large Bonneville in the company's lineup. The Grand Prix was really a standard Pontiac Catalina coupe with less trim outside and a sportier interior (bucket seats and a center console). Though passed through several model changes over its 46 year life, it remains a classic Pontiac.
